Guests may attend at most two regular chapter meetings
before they are required to join both the national organization at RWA.org and SRW in order to continue attending. Because our members write all heat levels, attendance is restricted to age 18 and up, which can (but doesn't always) include our special events.

SRW welcomes writers of any race, ethnicity, gender, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, tribe, socio-economic status, neurodiversity, and genre because #LoveIsLove. You must be actively pursuing a career as a romance writer to become a general member of the organization. We also accept associate members who write in genres other than romance, publishing industry professionals, and bloggers. For more information, please refer to the Become a Member page on the RWA website.
